For those who might be keeping score, I thought I would give a brief update on the music we currently offer (Wedding Hymns is the newest album), and other wedding music we’re developing. We continue to arrange and record music. Some of the music is added to current albums, and much of it does (or will do) double or triple duty on a number of offerings. Of course, about 65 of our songs will make a brief appearance on our Wedding Music Samples album (on our Bandcamp music site) which is near completion. now completed, as of June 2011. If you go to WEDDING MUSIC SAMPLES you’ll still be on our website.
Our first album to be offered was “Processionals For Brides and Bridesmaids.” Recently, we’ve added 4 or 5 new songs, but may remove a couple, as it currently has 27+ tunes. The new songs are Spring from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons for string orchestra and harpsichord, Hornpipe from Water Music by Handel, Air from Water Music by Handel, The Arrival Of The Queen Of Sheba by Handel, and a couple new versions of the Bridal Chorus – a gentle and reflective piano rendition (this one is about a minute long; there is a longer one available), and an intimate string quartet.
The timeline for when the other albums were created is a bit hazy, so in no particular order, here they are:
Fun Wedding Songs (includes one free wedding ringtone each week)
Bridal Chorus Variations – This is the first of several albums titled “Variations” which feature some of our processionals in different lengths to fit your wedding processional needs.
Bride’s Guide To Better Wedding Music (working title) – this doesn’t actually exist yet.
Wedding Ringtones are coming to cellular telephony in the near future. We already have a few of these finished.
