Our wedding music samples player is just the resource you need to plan your music. (Hear Wedding Music Samples on the BandCamp site too).
To help you make quick decisions on your wedding music, the samples album features short snippets of 70 wedding songs, both classic and contemporary… but who knows all those song names?
That’s just the idea – now you can quickly identify the songs you might like to include in your wedding ceremony (hint – perhaps a list is in order).
You’ll find most of these songs in full versions on one of our wedding music albums. Whether your goal is to work on making a song list, or to find excellent recordings and arrangements of these wedding ceremony songs, we can help.
I should add there are a few surprises on the samples album – a few creative upbeat songs a.k.a. Fun Wedding Songs, & some unusually appropriate love songs, notably Storybook Love, the theme from Princess Bride, which is on our Processionals for Brides and Bridesmaids album.
You might enjoy listening through our arrangement of Kate Middleton’s bridal processional from the royal wedding music; though it’s only been on our site since the weekend of the wedding, it’s already our 2nd most listened to song. There is a shorter version if you’re impatient, like me, and just want to cut to the chase. This shorter version lasts a little less than a minute. The arrangement that was played at Kate and Williams wedding lasted between 6 and 7 minutes, if I recall correctly; I doubt that most of you (if you’re a bride) will need that much time to get from point A to point B during your wedding ceremony! But then again, most of you won’t be renting the Westminster Cathedral for your wedding.
Since we took this rabbit trail, I’ll remind you that you can read an interesting and informative post about the order of service and all the music that was included in Kate and William’s Royal Wedding Ceremony here.
Back to the wedding music samples album: we’re considering posting a video of the wedding music samples on youtube; the video part might be as simple as white text on a black background listing the name of the music samples currently being played. We’re not sure about this yet, but it will probably happen in some form in the next few months, perhaps weeks.
Last, our Bridal Chorus Variations album is ranking quite well for us – if you google “Bridal Chorus” you should find is in the top ten, out of 1/2 million results. On Bing we’re #10 at the moment. This is an album with a cornucopia of arrangements and timings to meet the needs of those who would like to use the Bridal Chorus, but might like a different arrangement than the traditional (we have pipe organ, reflective piano, orchestra, string quartet, a medium paced piano arrangement, and many traditional piano renderings), or who would like to use the original version, but need it to be a different length than the usual music. We have one version that clocks in at about 24 seconds, and many other timings, so it’s quite possible we can give you the length you need for your unique wedding situation.
So, from Bach to Vivaldi, Wagner to Mendelssohn, and with the Beatles, Lifehouse, Mandy Moore, Goo Goo Dolls, Nat King Cole, Turtles, Simon & Garfunkel, Bread, Dan Fogelberg, Steven Curtis Chapman, Elvis love songs and more (don’t forget we also have some great recordings and lists of Wedding Hymns), we’re betting you’ll find a lot to love in this beautifully arranged and diverse collection of songs fit for an unforgettable wedding day.
