Check out our Wedding Music Samples album – part of our new strategy for the future!
Let’s be honest – if you’ll be spending $25,000+ on your wedding, chances are pretty good you won’t be using our pre-recorded wedding music, no matter how much you like it – you’ll be hiring a string quartet, or some of the finest professional musicians in your area, and you’re likely willing to fork over a couple thousand or more for the ceremony music costs. Of course our wedding music samples album may be perfect for reminding you of all the great processionals and deciding which one(s) will enhance your wedding ceremony.
On the other hand, if you’re trying to trim the budget and still have a great wedding, take a listen to our free wedding music samples, released December 2010. We’re strategizing about how many sample songs to offer in the future – a wedding music samples 2 album may be in the offing – but the idea is to play just enough of each song to jog your memory, or introduce you to other possibilities. There may be a lot of songs you’ve heard but won’t remember until you hear a short snippet.
If we included a sample of every song that is occasionally played, even just the processionals, there would be more than you could listen to in a couple hours. So the plan is to limit it to perhaps 70-100 of the best wedding songs, maybe less, and make the samples as short as practical. Even so, at 15 seconds per song, 80 songs is 20 minutes of music! So we have some strategic planning to do.
We’ve discussed dividing the music samples up into categories – perhaps
- other ceremony music
- songs usually better suited for preludes or receptions
It might make the most sense to start with the most familiar songs, so some of you could either skip or make your way quickly through the first 15 or 20 processional samples. We considered separating the processionals by composer, too – not sure that would really help though.
By the time most of you read this, when you visit our home page the information about our wedding music samples should be virtually shouting at you. Enjoy your time listening to it – because it will fly by pretty quickly. That’s the whole idea – saving you time and eliminating frustration as you decide on your wedding processionals and other ceremony music.
