Yesterday our wedding music samples project was improved and expanded with the addition of another handful of songs – Lo How A Rose ‘Ere Blooming, Te Deum, Polovetzian Dances Theme (Stranger in Paradise), Prelude in Db Major by Chopin, The Hallelujah Chorus, Rondeau by Mouret, Evening Prayer, O Mio Babbino Caro, and a re-interpretation of the Bridal Chorus in a very gentle piano style.
There are now 59 music samples, and soon to be more; we may need to offer a “Wedding Music Samples Light” album for those who don’t have the patience to listen through 70 or more samples songs; it may take close to 23 minutesto experience them all completely.
I had hoped each sample could be about 12-15 seconds long, so that there would be 4-5 wedding music samples per minute of listening time. Practically though, it takes close to 17 seconds average to get a decent feel for each song, the result being you can’t rip through them quite as fast as we had hoped. However, if you have a quick trigger finger, you’ll probably skip to the next ID when you hear certain ones that you know you’re not going to use, or that you are already planning to use.
More progress – you can now listen to our wedding music samples directly from our own website, rather than through Bandcamp, though they are a great host for the rest of our albums and songs.
