One of the original ideas when we conceived of this website and the music we would produce was to do wedding processionals in various timings – so, for example if you decide to use Pachelbel’s Canon in D as your bridal or bridesmaids processional, we offer you that classic piece in many different lengths. Here are some examples of other processionals we have in different lengths:
Jesu, Joy Of Man’s Desiring in 5 different timings – the shortest is :58 and the longest is 3:16.
Trumpet Voluntary (Prince of Denmark’s March) in 13 timings. Shortest is :59 and the longest is 4:16.
Bridal Chorus (the traditional) in Solo Piano and Pipe Organ versions. The shortest is :24 and the longest is about 2 minutes.
It seemed to us that if possible, it would be classier and more artistically pleasing to have the music end at the apprpriate time when the bride has joined the others, rather than just stopping the music. We would like to know if you think this is a good idea, or if didn’t or won’t matter to you…
