It’s cliché to say it, but it’s true – the bridal entrance is the most anticipated moment in your weddings. All the planning and all the decision making for your wedding day becomes a reality as you walk down the aisle. The church, synagogue, or other venue has been decorated, the minister, priest or rabbi chosen, the groomsmen and the groom have made their entrance, the bridesmaids have each slowly made their way to the front, and now it’s time for you to join them as you prepare to be joined in marriage to the love of your life.
Our specialty is music for your wedding entrance – your bridal processional. We offer many beautifully orchestrated arrangements of classic and contemporary processionals, and many of these songs in multiple versions of different lengths, so you can choose the timing that is just right for your wedding and your walk down the aisle.
Take a listen to our “Brides and Bridesmaids” Wedding Processionals album – download the songs and play them for others who will be involved with your wedding planning as well. When you decide which song is just right for you, you may find that we have an album for that song with different timings; download the album and take them with you to the rehearsal, or perhaps to the wedding venue at a time before the rehearsal, and then choose the wedding entrance song and timing that is perfect for your wedding.
We feature excellent song choices for your bridesmaids as well. Some of the best wedding entrance songs for the bride make great bridesmaids music – so if you’re not walking down to Pachelbel’s Canon in D, it may be perfect for your bridesmaids – and you can choose the perfect length from our album of different timings.
I saw a wedding recently with 10 bridesmaids… in that situation, one song may not be enough! I have rarely if ever heard a pre-recorded 8 minute wedding piece that works for this situation, but we have solutions. We do offer an extended version of some or our processionals – for example, we do offer Pachelbel’s Canon in D in a version lasting 7:45. If that doesn’t get your beautiful bridesmaids down the aisle, they must be stopping to chat with friends and family on the way down!
It’s quite common to combine all your music on one CD, or on an mp3 player, sometimes called an “iPod wedding.” If you’ve not done this sort of thing, it’s not hard to do, and the order of the songs you download from our albums won’t be a problem – you’ll have friends who can take the songs you choose and arrange them in the correct order for your wedding, from prelude to wedding entrance songs for bridesmaids and bride, to ceremony music and your recessional song.
