Kate & William Royal Wedding Music Now FREE

We’re now offering Kate & William’s Royal Wedding Music FREE of charge. One of the versions of Kate’s bridal processional has been free for quite some time; now we’ve decided to offer all songs at no charge. I hope to slowly add more music, as there are only 6 selections offered at the moment – 2 versions of “I Was Glad When They Said Unto Me”, Kate’s 5+ minute processional (our arrangements are shorter – the longer is about half as long as Kate’s was, and the shorter one (our most popular) is about a minute long – perfect for a wedding day march down the aisle unless you’re in, say, the Westminster Cathedral….

And I must confess, I initially chose the wrong musical setting for one of the wedding hymns,  “Love Divine All Loves Excelling” – this will be replaced soon.

ARRANGERS UPDATE: Love Divine All Loves Excelling has indeed been replaced with the correct version  with the Welsh Christian hymn setting Blaenwern.

Kate’s processional, “I Was Glad When They Said Unto Me”, was performed by orchestra,  pipe organ, and a massive choir during the ceremony on April 29th, 2011. Our arrangements are instrumental, beginning quite similarly to hers – with brass fanfare and pipe organ, and with the sound of a very large church. Where the choir entered less than a minute into the song, we have opted for acoustic piano to carry the melody and provide some of the strength that the choir brought to the royal wedding ceremony.

Other selections presently included on Kate and William’s Royal Wedding Ceremony Music are The Arrival of the Queen and The Duke of EdinburghGuide Me O Thou Great Redeemer, God Save the Queen – the British National Anthem.
