New Orchestral Arrangements of the Bridal Chorus

I’m starting to sound like a broken record, no pun intended….but we now have a couple more arrangements of the traditional Bridal Chorus, a.k.a. “Here Comes The Bride.”

Previous versions of this most popular bridal processional include pipe organ, traditional piano, a softer, more reflective piano, a somewhat mid-range piano arrangement, and a string quartet.

The newest additions are two orchestral versions; the instrumentation is strings, percussion (tympani, orchestra bells, and chimes), and solo french horn. The reason for the 2 versions is to provide for different timing requirements you might have for your wedding. The longer is about 1:40; the shorter is about 1:10.

This brings us to a total of about 20 different musical options now that we offer on our Bridal Chorus Variations album. Our majestic pipe organ continues to be the most popular, I’m partial to the new orchestral versions and the reflective piano rendition, and the recent sales indicate that the gentle piano version will soon surpass the pipe organ arrangement as our most popular.

Wedding Processional Songs for Brides & Bridesmaids also includes 4 or 5 versions of the Bridal Chorus, and is our top selling album.
