Duplicate Content for Wedding Processionals and Preludes

A note is in order about the content on some of the albums we offer. You will see some duplicate content on some of our albums. The reason? Many of the wedding processionals we offer are excellent prelude pieces as well; and even more generally, there are some beautiful songs that could work quite nicely in a number of places in your wedding – from prelude to postlude or reception, and everything in between.

So for example if you love Pachelbel’s Canon in D, but don’t plan to use it as a processional for bride or bridesmaids, you might like to include it as one of  your prelude or postlude selections. This would be true as well for many other familiar wedding songs – for example, Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring, Morning by Grieg, and so forth.

For this reason, we included certain songs on more than one album; our pricing is quite reasonable, and hopefully you will be comfortable with the inclusion of certain songs on different albums where it seems appropriate. As always, we appreciate your input on this subject and any other on which you would like to comment – we are still developing our site, and would like it to be the most helpful and useful to you as you plan your wedding music.
